Basia believes, and will help you understand, how the system of breathing in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga can be extremely rejuvenating, invigorating and even euphoric. In traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga we are taught to follow the guidelines of '99% practice, 1% theory'. She aims to provide guests over the week with concrete information, examples and tools for working to not only execute but flow fluidly from one posture to the other without deconstructing the bandhas and the breath that form the essence of the practice.
Basia will provide you with a vigorous practice, hands-on adjustments and many demonstrations. The days will conclude with technique classes and luxurious and soothing restorative stretches. She returns to Yoga Rocks with her mom, Sofia Lipska, who will also be at the retreat to offer Life Coaching and Private therapeutic massage sessions.
